Cookie Policy

What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored by your browser. They help a website remember information between requests or visits. Some are needed for the site to work; others are used only if you choose to allow them.
How we ask for your choice
When you first visit the site, you can accept analytics cookies, reject them, or save a custom choice. Necessary cookies cannot be switched off because the site relies on them for core functions. You can change or withdraw your analytics choice at any time using the Cookie settings control in the footer or below.
We retain your cookie choice for up to 12 months. If we make a material change to the categories or providers described here, we will ask for your choice again.
Necessary cookies
These cookies are used to deliver requested functionality, remember preferences, protect access to restricted areas, or remember your privacy choice. They are not used for advertising or cross-site tracking.
- cooper-consent — stores your analytics preference, the policy version, and a random consent identifier for up to 12 months.
- cooper-locale — stores the language you select (English or German) for up to 12 months.
- cooper-region-hint — stores a regional site preference inferred from your request. It is a session cookie.
- cooper-region-hint-dismissed — remembers that you dismissed the regional suggestion for 90 days.
- dl_session — an HttpOnly, secure session cookie used only after signing in to the restricted design library. It expires after 12 hours.
Analytics cookies
With your permission, we load Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site, including pages viewed and navigation activity. We do not load the Google Analytics script unless you have granted analytics consent. Advertising storage, ad-user data, and ad personalization remain disabled.
Google Analytics may set cookies such as _ga and _ga_<identifier> to distinguish visitors and sessions. Their lifespan is controlled by Google Analytics and your browser settings. If you withdraw consent, we stop loading Google Analytics on future page loads and make a best-effort attempt to remove its cookies from your browser.
Consent records
When you save a choice, we may record the choice, its time, language, policy version, a random consent identifier, your country at the network edge, and a shortened user-agent string. We do not send your IP address in this consent record. This record helps us demonstrate and honour your choice.
Managing cookies
Use the Cookie settings control to change your analytics preference. You can also delete or block cookies through your browser settings. Blocking necessary cookies may prevent parts of the site, such as language preferences or restricted design-library access, from working correctly.
